Rajmachi, a remote village 17 km from Lonavala, is home to 400 residents who live without basic infrastructure like electricity, proper roads, and a reliable water supply. During the monsoon, the village becomes completely isolated due to the lack of accessible roads, making daily life even more challenging.

 

Understanding these hardships, Vaghmi Foundation took the initiative to support Rajmachi by working on road development. In 2022, 6Sence, as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, joined hands with Vaghmi Foundation and donated solar-powered streetlights to the village.

 

This initiative has been a transformative step, bringing light to the village for the first time. The solar-powered streetlights have improved safety, security, and accessibility at night, allowing residents to move freely and engage in essential activities even after sunset.
